I don’t know how long it will continue, but Curious George’s Halloween Boo Fest has been a favorite to watch around here every year—we love that it’s not scary but full of Halloween fun. Trick or Treating is difficult for my oldest, so after a short early outing we like to put on Boo Fest to watch and answer our own door at home (we don’t get a lot of visitors in our neighborhood). We even did a family Boo Fest costume one year and my kids were No Noggin and Curious George while I got to be Allie in her spider costume and my husband was the man with the yellow hat.

I must be a weirdo, but we struggled to find something my kid wasn’t afraid of, so our October movie is the original My Little Ponies, with the witches and the grundles.

We love hocus pocus in our home! It’s been so fun to introduce it to our kiddos individually as they get old enough. We’re not super big on scary in our house, but Hocus Pocus and Halloween town are some favorites!

I love watching some of the old scary movies from when I was in high school, like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer!

Nightmare Before Christmas! Just like another person said, we watch it from Oct to Dec. lol
